Location. The historic Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, S.C., is located in the center of Charleston's Historic District, across the street from Marion Square Park and one block from King Street shopping.
Hotel Features. The Swamp Fox Restaurant and Bar, with views of Marion Square, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with southern specialties such as fried green tomatoes and she crab soup. Live piano music is played during evening meals. The hotel also offers a coffee bar, Port City Java, for fruit smoothies or a rich, roasted brew. The hotel provides a business center, wireless Internet access, conference center and 10 meeting rooms. Spa Adagio pampers guests with such indulgences as sea mud wraps and lavender scalp massages. A fitness room is available.

Guestrooms. As the only 12-story high-rise hotel in the historic district, most guestrooms at the Francis Marion Hotel offer spectacular views of Charleston's church spires, antebellum mansions, Marion Square and the famous harbor. The 226 guestrooms boast down duvets and extra pillows, and marble bathrooms with pedestal sinks, Judith Jackson toiletries and brass fixtures. Guestrooms also feature newspapers and Internet access.
